A house of prayer.
Prayer is the heart of our school —
and from that heart everything else takes its life.
Catholic rhythm and formation.
Our daily life is ordered to prayer. Each day opens with the Saint of the Day, a virtue lesson, and the Morning Offering; the Angelus is prayed before lunch; and the afternoon includes the Rosary or another Marian devotion. The great liturgical seasons unfold their riches through the academic year.
Morning Offering
Each day begins by entrusting our work, study, and play to the Lord.
Saint of the Day
Students meet a new heavenly friend each morning — a companion and intercessor for the day.
Daily Virtue Lesson
A short, ordered formation in the cardinal and theological virtues, day by day.
The Angelus
Prayed before lunch, joining our school to the daily prayer of the Church across the world.
Rosary & Marian Devotion
After lunch, the Rosary or another Marian devotion entrusts our students to the Mother of God.
Sacred Music
Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony are sung by every student — for the Church's music belongs to her children.
As permissions and parish partnerships allow, STACA hopes to provide regular opportunities for the students to attend Mass and to receive the sacraments during the week.
“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.”
