Common Questions
01

When does STACA open?

+

STACA opens enrollment for the Fall 2026 academic year in grades K–8. We will add one grade level each year as we build toward the Upper School, and especially welcome interest from Grade 7–8 families preparing for high school formation.

02

Where is the academy located?

+

STACA is located in Toledo, Ohio. Our exact campus address will be shared with families who inquire and visit.

03

Do I need to be Catholic to enroll?

+

STACA is unapologetically Catholic in identity, curriculum, and daily prayer life. We welcome non-Catholic families who wholeheartedly support our mission and are willing to participate in the full life of the school.

04

What is the difference between Full-Time and Hybrid?

+

The Full-Time Academy meets five days per week. The Hybrid Academy meets two days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays) and partners with parents for the remaining three days (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays) at home.

05

Do you accept Ohio EdChoice scholarships?

+

Yes. We will be a registered EdChoice provider. Most Ohio families enrolled in the Full-Time Academy qualify for substantial state scholarship support that covers the majority of tuition.

06

What about students with learning differences?

+

We work with families to discern needs on a case-by-case basis. Our small class sizes, personal attention, and classical presentation serve many students well. We encourage families to speak with us directly about their child's needs so we can honestly discern how the Academy may be able to support them.

07

Is uniform required?

+

Yes. Our uniform is dignified and traditional — a tangible expression of our shared commitment to order and beauty.

08

How can I support the school?

+

Through prayer, through volunteer time, and through financial gifts. Visit our Partner With Us page to learn more.
